Aunt Jeannie ,that video is scary indeed , you hear about sinkholes a lot lately , there was one in Florida not long ago the swallow a house with the man in bed .People said the cause of sinkholes id because land was fill in with waste , well there is a different tale to this story sinkholes is showing up everywhere along coastal regions , the scientists are taking another look because they know climate change is effecting the planet . Hi Sha The melting of permafrost in Siberia, Greenland and the Arctic to name a few is releasing dangerous amounts of carbon dioxide that were trapped in the ice for millions of years. It could tip the balance that scientists are desperately trying to keep to stop the planet from heating up so quickly. Now we are learning the permafrost was also holding the land together and keeping it solid in some places. Some sink holes have also been blamed on fracking. Pretty soon the planet will look like Swiss cheese. The good news is that we may have a tunnel directly to China. That will make shopping there much easier.
