The Blue-footed Booby Bird is a comical-looking tropical seabird with bright blue webbed feet and bluish facial skin. The head of the bird is a pale cinnamon-brown with dense white streaks. On the back of the neck, there is a white patch where the neck connects to the mantle. I love the Booby. He is a character and no other bird is like him. Just look at that handsome face. I cannot figure out the advantage of having blue feet....unless that's the only way they have of recognizing one another. Not the brightest birds on the planet.
